Vantage Bloomdale, AVID Property Group’s (AVID) first Victorian land lease neighbourhood, has
announced a new partnership with Club Sunbury, a lawn bowls club with deep roots in the local
community.
Club Sunbury CEO Di Fisher said the partnership was a natural decision for the Club and community.
“Our facility is unique in Victoria. We’re always looking to align with organisations that share our core
values and mission,” Ms Fisher said.
“We’re excited to partner with Vantage Bloomdale to create lasting and meaningful memories and
connections for our respective members.”
Celebrating its 63rd year in business in 2025, Club Sunbury is the premier club of its kind in the region.
With 3,800 active members and an additional 3,000 guests each week, the Club is a meeting point and
place of leisure, friendship, and connection for community members.
AVID General Manager Land Lease Communities Manuel Lang said connectivity goes beyond bonding
over shared spaces within the neighbourhood.
“Creating opportunities for our residents to form truly meaningful friendships and relationships is at the
heart of our mission,” he said.
“Through this new partnership with Club Sunbury, we hope those in our neighbourhood and the wider
community can come together over friendly lawn bowls competition and meet people they mightn’t
otherwise have crossed paths with.”
As part of the partnership, Vantage Bloomdale residents will be able to take full advantage of the Club’s
facilities for social events and participate in annual initiatives, Club Sunbury will also donate 10 Social
Memberships for Vantage Bloomdale staff and offer exclusive food and drink discounts for residents.
Mr Lang said the partnership reflected Vantage’s commitment to support local communities and build
authentic connections.
“It’s important that we give back and support the local businesses that make the area so special,” he said.
Club Sunbury Marketing and Sponsorships Manager Michelle Marinier said the Club welcomed the
partnership.
“Club Sunbury is already a very popular community meeting place, and we’re thrilled to be working with
Vantage Bloomdale to welcome even more new faces,” she said.
As Vantage Bloomdale continues construction on their highly anticipated community facilities, including a movie theatre, private dining spaces and more, the importance of fostering a connected community has become clear.
